Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is more than just a guided meditation. It is a relationship with your inner and outer self. When these two become one the highest self emerges and we are present with the field of pranic awareness. Our relationship with life changes and we are made whole.

The results of a regular practice can harmonize the effects of our modern life. Yoga is the outcome of having a relationship with the flow of life and many of us need practices to create and establish this connection. As we navigate the unfolding of time our species is often faced with questions that can cause liberation or madness. Where there is chaos there is harmony.

Yoga Nidra is a relationship of moving the senses inward. The modern predictiment is one of sensory stimulation. I feel that the outcome of this is a disturbed mental state and disregulated body systems. Many come to these “practices” to relieve these obstacles.

Yoga Nidra is a deeply nourishing medicine for our current experiences here on this earth. The body needs deep rest. We cannot properly detox without a strong foundation. Our modern pace does not value deep rest and instead creates a field of shame and disgrace around the cyclical patterns inherent in nature. Sleep is a pillar of health. Yogic sleep is journey into samadhi. Samadhi is where we can remember that we are in a field of love.

Pressence emerges and our lives have the potential to be surrounded with trust, creative passion, loving kindness, and a deep reciprocity with life. Our actions become an expression of a devotion to life. This is Yoga.

If you are seeking the deep and transformational effects of a yogic practice please consider exploring the divine journey into Yoga Nidra. It is the most simple of practices and yet full of great potential.
